The tranquil aroma of saffron, blackberry and star anise is always such a huge hit during the Autumn/winter months that it is now available all year round.
So what is boxing day? Well for those of you who have visited England and those of you who have met me or just love British culture then you are fully aware of this day that we celebrate.
The origins of this day, however, are steeped in history and tradition.
Boxing day was traditionally a day off for servants and the day when they received a Christmas box from their master. The servants would also go home on Boxing Day to give Christmas boxes to their families.
The Boxing Day candle represents relaxation on a day where we can take it all in, breathe, and be at one knowing the Christmas rush is now complete. It’s time to chill!
